Urban Outfitters took a very unusual approach to advertising when they first became a national chain. Instead of mailing frequent catalogs, they published one a year, distributed only at their store locations. They were able to put the budget into elaborate design and printing, and CSA Design was commissioned to build this catalog/poster around photographs by iconic grunge photographer Charles Peterson.
